Toddlers & Twos

cute little boy paintingIt is never too early to start learning. Start your child’s learning early at Kinderberry Academy Early Learning School. Toddler’s and Two’s are busy and on the move – eager to discover and explore. We call this learning! Their developmental needs are different from from older children.  Kinderberry Academy keeps up with developing toddler and two’s by providing a challenging, yet predictable place for them to learn and grow.

Language and self-awareness blossom in a toddler’s second year of life. Mobility vastly improves and the child’s curiosity awakens. It compels the toddler to investigate spatial concepts as well as fine motor skills. Two-year-old’s also begin to develop meaningful friendships.

In our Two Year Old Classroom, the children are guided and nurtured by our teachers. Each day is filled with art, music, reading books, small and large muscle activities, and opportunities to develop social skills. Special low-to-the-ground toilets and sinks for hand washing make the challenges of self-care more manageable, while helping the toddlers to foster independence.

Our Toddler and Two’s Programs offer:

  • Our teachers provide hundreds of different learning activities that foster language and communication, cognitive skills, creativity, gross- and fine-motor skills, critical thinking skills, and personal and social skills which they work in to the children’s explorations.
  • We have time for music, art, dancing, stories, and games. Additionally, we stretch our muscles and imaginations either inside or outside with large motor activities.
